Jason Song

Jason Song is an award-winning, documentary and commercial director based in Ottawa, Canada. 
Jason was first inspired to pursue documentary filmmaking when he spent time working as a volunteer between film sets during his school's summer breaks. 
Since that time, he has directed numerous
documentaries, including his heart-pounding Muay Thai documentary "FIGHT", which sheds 
intimate insights into the emotional turmoil fighters experience pre-fights and the underlying motivation
that drives them forward. 
Jason's documentaries regularly win awards such as the ASINABKA Film Festival's official selection for "Where the River Flows". 
Jason has worked on film sets in various capacities and directed commercial campaigns for global brands such as Gracie Barra, Apple Music, and Parkinson's Canada.
